What type of bedding is this? Is it safe for my hamsters?

i think its fine however i dont recommend it. stay clear of scented beddings as they might not be appreciated by yout hamsters and soft wood is generally not recommended to use as bedding as they give off oils which can be harmful. you could buy a similar bedding with no scent and made of hard wood shavings however the best option is to buy a bedding made of recycled paper as this is the most absorbent and the safest for rodents as its usually not dusty and doesnt give off any harmful chemicals. these include carefresh bedding, and yesterdays news cat litter theres another cat litter made of recycled paper but i cant remember the name. its up to you but i would probably go with carefresh or one of the cat litters cause ive read they are the best. good luck and im glad u care enough about your pets to ask around whats safe for them. if all pet owners were like you no animal would be mistreated
