No luck with ladies????????

Okay so I'm very scrawny and I can't seem to get any girls. It's very depressing but I would appreciate if people were brutally honest to me. I've even tried a little practice dating unattractive girls, but the same ole bullshit strikes again. "just friends" bla bla bla. I've written myself out on the girl I truly like because my confidence is just too low, and to be honest I think it wouldn't matter. I'm not trying to feel sorry for myself, but I feel as if I should just give up trying. If I work out and gain a lot of muscle, will girls notice me at all? I would like to be a ripped Greek god.
