What should I get my 17 month old niece for Christmas?

She has lots of clothes, and toys...I don't have a lot to spend but some books or activities would be good, I just don't know which ones. She is a very good talker and can identify many things by sight (ex. point to something and she can name it)...I also have an 8 year old niece. What should I get her? She like to do crafty things, but also likes the "popular" kids stuff like Hannah Montana, Bratz, etc...
