I have credit debt and but want to go to school ful time?

I've no job and currently looking for one. I have a $2000 credit debt and struggling to pay it off. But I wanted to go to nursing school in the fall... Should I wait to pay them off first? I don't want loans as much as possible because we all know it's really hard to pay it off. Advice? experience?
