Do you think I was out of line?

This girl at my school is just the biggest b-word I have ever met, and today I gave her hell for picking on this girl who no one likes. Now, I don't like the girl she was picking on, and I have given my share of snide comments, but I was kind of looking for an excuse to tell this girl off. Should I have just held my toung?
